Leading companies across the food, logistics, financial services and out-of-home advertising sectors have endorsed the 4th edition of the MediaConsortium Conference and Awards, increasing the number of corporate organisations that have signified interest for this year’s event.

The conference, organised by MediaConsortium, is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa, Ikeja.
Flour Mills of Nigeria, a major food and agro-allied business group, and SIFAX Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning maritime, aviation, oil and gas, logistics, financial services and hospitality, are among the organisations supporting the 2026 edition.
Also supporting the conference are Four Pulley Limited, an Out-of-Home advertising company; and AXA Mansard, a financial services company with interests in life insurance and investment.
Already, some organisations have earlier indicated their interest to be a part of the conference. They are, Rite Foods Ltd, Checkers Custard, Afriglobal Insurance Brokers, NB, Nestle Nigeria, PZ Wilmer, Ajinomoto Foods Nigeria, Integrated Indigo and Digisplash, among others.
The event is expected to attract a broad mix of stakeholders from the marketing communications and business ecosystem, including brand strategists, business leaders, marketing professionals, corporate executives, media practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs and students.
The conference will provide participants with an opportunity to examine changing consumer behaviour, emerging market dynamics and the strategies businesses need to remain relevant in an increasingly empowered marketplace.
Organised annually by MediaConsortium, a brand, business and marketing publication, the conference serves as a platform for thought leadership, professional networking, knowledge exchange and the recognition of brands, organisations and individuals contributing to value creation, customer engagement, innovation and market relevance.
The 2026 edition is themed “The Value Shift: Strategies for the New Market Reality in the Age of the Empowered Consumer.”
Dr. Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), has confirmed her participation as the keynote speaker, while Yinka Femi Opadere, Head of Digital at Glo, will serve as the guest speaker.
Their presentations on the conference theme will form part of the discussions at the event, with industry experts expected to further examine the issues raised during a panel session.
Moderated by Akonte Ekine, Chief Executive of BrandXchange and Convener, Consumers Value Awards (CVA) the panel will feature Adewole Lawal, Sustainable Lead, Evercorp Industries; Oke Umurhowho, Head of Marketing, StarTimes; Olusesan Ogunyooye, Head of Marketing, AXA Mansard; and Olabisi Shonibare, Director, Partnerships, Grants Management and Innovations, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency.
The discussions are expected to provide perspectives on how brands and organisations can respond to changing consumer expectations while building sustainable value and maintaining relevance in the new market environment.
