Leye-Odeyemi, Lawal to lead discussion at 2nd MediaConsortium CSR Impact and Excellence Conference ‎

Seasoned sustainability professionals, Tosin Leye-Odeyemi, Head, HoldCo Risk, Sustainability & Capital Management at Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc and, Adewole Lawal, Group Sustainability Lead at EverCorp Industries have confirmed to deliver the keynote address at the 2026 MediaConsortium CSR Impact and Excellence Conference.

‎‎This year’s conference which is the second edition is scheduled to hold on May 15, 2026 at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Dr Nurudeen Olowopopo Drive, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, by 10am. 

With vast knowledge in ESG Leye-Odeyemi and Adewole Lawal bring to the table several years of experience in the sustainability space.

Their paper is expected to lay the foundation for discussion at the MediaConsortium CSR Impact and Excellence Conference, which will further be deepened in a panel session by a group of distinguished experts.

With the theme; “Beyond Profit: Redefining Success Through CSR & Sustainability”, the conference organized by MediaConsortium, a business, brands and marketing publication, is aimed at deepening conversation around CSR/ Sustainability highlighting how organisations can tap into the space for organisational and societal growth. The event also seeks to reward outstanding individuals and organizations that are making impact within the society.

‎‎Tosin Leye-Odeyemi who sits as the Head, HoldCo Risk, Sustainability & Capital Management at Stanbic IBTC Holdings is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited. She possess over two decades of experience in governance, capital ‎management, and sustainability.

Since joining the Stanbic IBTC ‎Group in 2002, she has held leadership roles across Internal Control, Compliance, Investment Management, Finance, and People & Culture.

In April 2022, she assumed her current role, where she leads the Risk, Capital Management and Sustainability teams within the Finance function, driving strengthened governance, operational ‎efficiency and value-led decision-making.

‎‎A Fellow of ICAN, and an FSA Credential Holder, Leye-Odeyemi holds an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School.

‎Adewole Lawal is a seasoned sustainability professional with over 13 years of experience. He is an experienced ESG facilitator, coach, mentor and thought leader. His experience cuts across different sectors such as financial institutions (banking and non-banking), Oil and Gas, mining, FMCG, Agriculture, Telecommunications, Energy, among others.
Adewole has deep understanding of prominent ESG standards and frameworks such as the IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS guideline, Equator Principles, UN SDGs, UN PRI, etc. and including widely recognized reporting and disclosure standards such as the GRI standards.

‎He currently works as the Group Sustainability Lead for EverCorp Industries where he supports subsidiaries companies in the Energy, Financial and Food & Beverage sectors on their sustainability journey.

Adewole is a certified Lead Auditor, Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001); Certified Lead Implementer, Occupational Health, and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001); Certified Lead Risk Manager, Risk Management (ISO 31000), Certified Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Professional (GRCP) by OCEG, among others.

‎He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Sociology from University of Ibadan, Nigeria; M.A in Global and International Social Policy from the University of Sheffield, UK; and Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from Quantic School of Business and Technology, USA. 

‎He is a recipient of Commonwealth Scholarships Award, and several other academic and professional awards.
