The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has explained the importance of the Lekki-Epe International Airport in the economic development of the state. Sanwo-Olu noted that when fully operational, the Lekki- Epe International Airport will decongest the existing Muritala Muhammed International Airport, unlock new opportunities for businesses to strive and would also be of immense benefit to the residents of Lagos State in other areas.
The Governor said this at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally renowned Summa Group to develop and construct the highly anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport which is one of the state’s flagship Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.
Speaking further, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said the project aligns with the State’s vision to enhance connectivity, drive economic growth, and attract global investments in the state.
