Speaking at the event, the National President of the Forum, Prophet Peter Daniel, said the decision to support Governor Oborevwori for another term was informed by what he described as the Governor’s outstanding performance across critical sectors of the state’s economy over the past three years.

According to him, the administration’s commitment to good governance, infrastructural development and people-oriented programmes has earned the confidence of Deltans and justified the Forum’s endorsement.

Prophet Daniel explained that the vision of the Forum is to foster unity among leaders at all levels through prayers and advocacy for sustainable peace, national cohesion and development.

He also expressed concern over the prevailing security challenges in the country, urging the Federal Government and other critical stakeholders to complement military operations with dialogue and reconciliation.

According to him, the use of force alone has not yielded the desired results, stressing that lasting peace can only be achieved through inclusive engagement and collective commitment to national unity.

He assured that the Forum would continue to pray for peace, security and the progress of Nigeria.

Responding, Governor Oborevwori thanked the religious leaders for the endorsement and their continued prayers for his administration.

Represented by the State Coordinator of Religious Matters, Rev. Cyril Okonye, the Governor reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the implementation of the MORE Agenda and intensifying efforts to accelerate development across the state for the benefit of all Deltans.

He also appealed to religious leaders to continue interceding for leaders at all levels of government, stressing that unity, peace and divine guidance remain essential for effective governance and national progress.

Also speaking, two members of the Delta State Executive Council, Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu and Mr. Smart Ufoh, highlighted what they described as the remarkable achievements of the Oborevwori administration across various sectors.

They expressed confidence that a second term for the Governor would consolidate ongoing projects and open a new phase of accelerated development in the state.

The event featured special prayers for the Governor, Delta State and Nigeria, as well as a sermon titled, “The Power of Strong Covenant,” delivered by Prophet Peter Daniel. #viralreels #highlight
