Ajinomoto Fodds, Nigeria Ltd has won the prestigious Consumers’ Assembly award (seasoning category) for its consistency in local content compliance in Nigeria.
The awards was conferred on Ajinomoto recently in Lagos at Consumers’ Experience Summit/Awards with the theme: “harnessing local content for Consumers’ gain: way to go”.
Speaking on this development, the organisers of Consumers’ Summit/Awards, said Ajinomoto Foods, Nigeria Ltd was adjuged best company of the year in local content compliance (seasoning category) by an independent panel of judges made up of seasoned Marketing Journalists in Nigeria.
According to them, Ajinomoto Foods, Nigeria Ltd has different brands of seasoning in which they used locally sourced material to produce, noting that one among such brands is the DeliDawa which is produced using Dawadawa, Iru and Okpehe.
The organisers of Consumers’ Summit/Awards said the awards seek to bring competition among various companies in Nigeria by encouraging local content compliance and the provision of quality services and products to consumers.
Speaking on how excited they feel upon receiving the award, Head, Corporate Communications, Ajinomoto Foods, Nigeria Ltd, Francisca Ikediashi said the victory is due to the great changes that the have made in the entire system of providing services to their customers across the country.
According to her, the company considers the award as a motivation to be proactive and innovative in serving its customers better and meet their expectations and to be more than where they are.
